Individual Counseling

Helping you find freedom & peace.

You have everything within you to figure this out .

Life can feel heavy at times — especially when old wounds resurface, transitions arrive uninvited, or the coping strategies that once worked no longer do. Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin responding to life in new, more supportive ways.

I’m a licensed professional counselor with over 10 years of experience supporting adults through both past and present challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your lived experience. I believe healing happens when we feel understood, when our stories are held with care, and when we’re given tools that actually fit who we are.

Together, we’ll work not just to reduce symptoms, but to help you build a life that feels more aligned, meaningful, and sustainable.

Let’s align your life to discover life’s joys again.

Our number one goal is to make you feel seen, safe and comfortable whether you are coming in person or we are meeting through telehealth. Therapy is hard, but the benefits that can be gained from some deep emotional work whether its for depression, anxiety, ADHD, truama, family issues, self-esteem, body image, and more are incredibly helpful.

I work with individuals experiencing:

  • Depression and low mood

  • Anxiety, overwhelm, and chronic stress

  • Life transitions and identity shifts

  • Family of origin concerns and relational patterns

  • ADHD and executive functioning challenges

  • Sleep difficulties

  • Parenting Challenges

  • Self Esteem

  • Boundary-setting and people-pleasing

  • LGBTQ+ affirming care and identity exploration

Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware people who “function well on the outside” while feeling stuck, disconnected, or exhausted on the inside. You don’t have to wait until things fall apart to seek support.

My Approach to Therapy

Therapy with me is both insight-oriented and practical. I aim to help you understand why certain patterns exist, while also learning how to navigate life differently moving forward.

I integrate several evidence-based approaches, including:

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy to deepen emotional awareness and connection

  • Strengths-Based Therapy to build on what’s already working and foster resilience

  • EMDR to help process and heal from past experiences that continue to impact the present

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns

Our work is tailored to you — your history, nervous system, values, and goals.

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone

If you’re feeling ready to understand yourself more deeply, heal what’s been weighing on you, or learn new ways of navigating life’s obstacles, therapy can be a powerful place to begin.

I would be honored to walk alongside you.

  • I have a particular passion for supporting healthcare workers and other helping professionals. If you’re someone who spends your days caring for others, you may struggle to prioritize your own needs, rest, or fulfillment.

Therapy can be a space where you don’t have to be the strong one — where we explore burnout, boundaries, meaning, and how to live in closer alignment with your values without sacrificing your wellbeing.

  • EMDR stands for Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Don’t let the big fancy name scare you. EMDR is an extremely popular type of therapy developed in the 1980’s designed to heal all types of trauma. It is a relatively short term therapy that heals the roots of mental and emotional struggles so you can experience freedom and happiness again.

You maybe thinking “Trauma? I haven’t experienced any trauma.” or “I have experienced trauma and don’t know what to do about it.” Unfortunately, to be human is to experience hardship and these hardships can be traumatic and difficult for your brain to process. In this case “trauma” can be defined as an ongoing or incidental difficulty you’ve experienced in life that continues to cause uncomfortable or difficult symptoms. Some of these symptoms include mood or anxiety struggles, negative self esteem, flashbacks and triggers, negative beliefs about yourself, unhealthy coping strategies, difficulty in relationships and so much more.

EMDR essentially gives your brain the opportunity to heal so you can move forward with your life and not be stuck with what happened to you in the past. If you find yourself repeating the same negative cycles personally, professionally or relationally and have no idea what to do to get out of these cycles and feel healthy and experience healing EMDR would be fantastic for you.
